So – I am beginning to realise more and more that to be a really good photographer , for some kinds of pictures you really have to have an idea of what you want BEFORE you shoot. It’s not always enough to be in the right place at the right time.
I want some fairly standard pictures of my High Street , a collection of full street scenes and close up details. A mixture of B&W and colour.
The place is a bit dilapidated but has lots of multi cultural charm. Can I go out and capture any of this??
Let’s see ….. Here we go – laters.

POET Amy Key needed some headshots taking for an upcoming tour – so … I took her to a car park in Tooting. (Conveniently, the car park has it’s own bar.)
Great place for sligtly mean looking background textures – and thankfully the sun decided to hang around for most of the time we were there.
Amy has these fantastic huge blue eyes – which I think make most of the pictures work. I managed to get my martini filled legs to hold me steady on a mini bar stool, so we got at least a few of the shots from a slightly different angle / perspective.
Should have experimented more with full length shots, and a wider range of facial expressions.
… next time ….
( Ssshhhh – these are not all monochrome – )
