Low light conditions. low intelligence conditions – mine, not theirs!

Bits and Bobs

A colleague asked me to photograph some of her students …
The dog always needs his picture taking …
The light in room 313 was beguiling …

Some old faces

A peculiar night – some people that I worked with about 12 years ago. Haven’t seen most of them in the interim period.
I’d like to say they really haven’t changed – but the best I can do is conceede they have changed in an alarmingly predictable fashion!

My Most Favouritest James EVER.

Tall, dark and organised. One day I’m going to be just like him … except maybe the tall part.

Castle Japes

More silliness at The Castle in Battersea. There’s never enough light and always too much sambuca in these kinds of pictures – but I love people and their pub expressions.
Hmmm … maybe I should start a project ….

Location Location Location

POET  Amy Key needed some headshots taking for an upcoming tour – so … I took her to a car park in Tooting. (Conveniently, the car park has it’s own bar.)

Great place for sligtly mean looking background textures – and thankfully the sun decided to hang around for most of the time we were there.

Amy has these fantastic huge blue eyes – which I think make most of the pictures work. I managed to get my martini filled legs to hold me steady on a mini bar stool, so we got at least a few of the shots from a slightly different angle / perspective.

Should have experimented more with full length shots, and a wider range of facial expressions.

…  next time ….

( Ssshhhh –  these are not all monochrome – )
